As a Data Services engineer you play a key role in our implementation and maturation of our infrastructure as code buildout. That includes automated OS/DB lifecycle management, alerting and automated patching.
You will also interact with customer support, specialist’s teams, developers and 3rd party providers. Clear and concise communication is required. Working closely with diverse teams you will need to develop a good all-round understanding of systems, services and networks as well as the telecom industry. Diligence and attention to detail are also key skills along with an ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately. You will join an international company and need excellent communication skills to work with people around the globe, using digital communication tools often in non-real-time situations.
Advanced troubleshooting in coordination with other teams and 3rd parties, query / schema optimizations, fine tuning of back-end databases

Key duties/ responsibilities:
The person shall work with system engineers, data engineers and software engineers to research, design and implement machine learning solutions for complex telecom (5G, RAN, Edge) use cases
5+ years of experience - minimum 3 years of hands-on experience applying machine learning techniques
to business problems.
Good understanding of ML theory and fundamentals.
Strong working knowledge of ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, deep learning, time series, etc). Experience with Image Analysis/Computer Vision is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong experience with ML modeling tools/frameworks in Python/C++ such as SciKit-learn, Keras/Tensorflow/Pytorch, RLlib.
